Dr Shamith Samarajiwa leads the Integrative Systems Biomedicine Group at the Medical Research Council's Cancer Unit. In this talk, Shamith will explore how 21st Century research uses data science and computational approaches to extract hidden biology from the large datasets required to improve our understanding of cancer and identify novel approaches for treatment.
