Join Ginny Smith to find out what happens in the brain when we learn and create memories, and why we shouldn’t always trust everything we remember! Using research from psychology and neuroscience and quizzes and games, Ginny shares tips and tricks to help everyone make the most of their memory.

Ginny Smith studied Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, and now shares her enthusiasm for everything scientific as a science writer and presenter. She performs shows at science festivals and schools, presents and produces the British Psychological Society’s Psych Crunch podcast, and is a regular blogger and presenter on the Cosmic Shambles Network. She has also co-written 3 DK science books, and has recently started her own YouTube channel.

Visitors are recommended to visit the Cambridge Biomedical Campus by foot, bicycle or bus but if you need to drive, reduced price parking has been arranged in Car Park 1. On leaving please take the un-validated parking ticket to the car park Customer Service desk, say you have been to Cambridge Science Festival to be charged just £2.90.
