Tuesday 12 March: 1:00pm - 5:00pm

Churchill College, Jock Colville Hall, Storeys Way, CB3 0DS

Cambridge has a wealth of sources for those interested in the history of science. Find out about science archives and special collections across Cambridge, what they are and how to access them. What kind of records scientists leave behind and what these tell us about their work and life and how can these be used for historical research.

We bring together representatives and displays from collections across Cambridge for this afternoon event at Churchill College. Learn about the collections held at the Scott Polar Research Institute, Sedgwick Museum Archives, Science Collections at the University Library, the Whipple Library of the History and Philosophy of Science, St John’s College, King’s College, Jesus College and Churchill Archives Centre.
