Following a sold-out Open Cambridge talk, Chris Wakefield from the Cambridge Archaeological Unit returns to tell the fascinating story of Must Farm, the best-preserved Bronze Age settlement ever discovered in the UK. Consisting of stilted roundhouses built over a river the site was destroyed in a huge fire almost 3,000 years ago.

Excavations discovered thousands of amazing artefacts including tools, pottery, weapons and even tiny, well-preserved balls of thread. This talk describes the life of the settlement and how archaeologists have been able to discover fascinating new details about this incredible period of prehistory.
