The COVID-19 pandemic has laid bare health inequalities between different social groups in society. This session will explore the meaning, measurement and causes of health inequalities, including those associated with the pandemic. The session will also help participants to reflect on the adequacy of social policy responses as a mechanism to remedy health inequalities.

This is an in-person talk at Madingley Hall, hosted by Nigel Kettley, Academic Director for Education and Social Science at the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education.
