Words for climate

2:00pm-5:00pm on Saturday 16 March

Times shown are in GMT (UTC +0) up to the 26th March. For events on or after 27th March times are in BST (UTC +1).

Faculty of English, GR06/07 9 West Road, CB3 9DP

Rosa Appignanesi will be running a drop-in creative workshop. People can send in their favourite poems about nature, or even their own work, which will be used to create the ‘pool’ of words. Then during the event, attendees will draw from this pool to create their own poems, some of which will be made into a chapbook. The goal is for people to think about the language we use for nature and the climate crisis, and also for people who might not normally think of themselves as ‘creative’ to see their work published.
