For one night only: join us for an immersive experience at the Museum of Classical Archaeology as artist Ella McCartney transforms our Cast Gallery. Grab a glass of wine and look afresh at our casts of Graeco-Roman sculpture, bathed in an after-dark light show and a soundscape evoking the music of ancient Greece.
This event is a collaboration between the Museum of Classical Archaeology, artist Ella McCartney (Goldsmiths) and musicians Will Ward and Jack Wiley (SOAS). By offering not a recreation but an invocation of ancient musical soundscapes, we invite visitors to experience our space in their bodies and with their senses through an installation of light and sound that unfolds in space and time.
