Festival Evensong

4:00pm-5:00pm on Sunday 17 March

Times shown are in GMT (UTC +0) up to the 26th March. For events on or after 27th March times are in BST (UTC +1).

Great St.Mary's Church, Senate House Hill, CB2 3PQ

Do join us for a beautiful Choral Evensong service at Great St Mary’s, the University Church. A special address will be given by keynote speaker the Revd Canon Jim Walters entitled Sacred texts or international agreements: Which will save us from climate collapse? Everyone, of any faith or none, is most warmly welcome to this service. Although we encourage those who can attend in person to do so, the service will also be live-streamed.

The Revd Canon Professor James Walters is Founding Director of the London School of Economics (LSE) Faith Centre and the LSE Religion and Global Society. He is a professor in practice in the LSE International Relations Department and chaplain to the School. He has published several books, most recently Loving Your Neighbour in an Age of Religious Conflict: A New Agenda for Interfaith Relations, and he is an honorary canon of Chichester Cathedral.
